Special Events Assistant

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests while maintaining a positive image of our venue
Answer any questions and inquiries, take messages when necessary
Assist with communications to events participants, supporters and suppliers
Oversee attendees and ensure they adhere safely to policies and procedures
Set-up and break-down of various event order requests
Maintain a strong presence with clear communication with event staff and managing vendors
Provide facility assistance as needed to ensure all needs are met
Communicate all repair and special needs to Director of Events
Maintain a high standard of event and customer service
Assist in turn in/out of horses as per event order and timeline for ‘Carrots & Cocktails’
Observe horses for general safety, health, stance and attitude
Keep barn, indoor arena, and facility exterior clean, swept, and free of clutter
Restocking facilities during and at end of shift to ensure ready for next event
Manage utilities to minimize expense (i.e. lock doors, safety checks, fireplace has been extinguished and turn lights, heating or air conditioning off at end of night)

Cook I / Full-Time
Experienced Cook wanted at taStable Craft Brewing. Need a passionate foodie that wants to take the helm exploding creativity one plate at a time in a farm-to fork-environment making really cool sandwiches, burger and appetizers that can’t be found anywhere else to compliment our exciting farm-brewed beers. Weekends and holidays are necessary for this position.
Description of Responsibilities
Craft artisanal-menus with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients and cross-utilization for catered events
Sourcing of local ingredients
Supervise production of catered events
Ordering and costing out of menus with a focus
Must work nights, weekends and *federal holidays
Excellent sanitation skills
Ability to reproduce consistent menu items
Knife skills and equipment knowledge
Monitor and report needed repairs
Communicate with servers
Tasting Room Servers

Description of Responsibilities
This position reports to the Tasting Room Manager, may have responsibilities and job tasks assigned by owners (Beer Ambassador and Head Brewer). The ideal candidate will be an energetic, friendly, motivated, outgoing and a hardworking individual who takes initiative. Candidates must be able to commit to 8 four hour training/orientation sessions prior to the tasting room’s opening. Day to day responsibilities will include serving Stable Craft beers in the tasting room, following state law, and being able to answer questions and make recommendations regarding our beer selection. This position will need to have a strong love for craft beer and a desire to continuously grow and learn, and a passion for craft beer culture and
be willing to represent it. It will require an individual to know our beers inside and out.
Servers will be expected to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Display a sense of urgency, have a self-starting personality, and demonstrate attention to detail
Have a positive and professional attitude with our crew and our guests
Sell Stable Craft merchandise and Farm Brewery Drinking Club memberships.
Be willing to be trained on the art and science of craft brewing and craft beers.
Record drink orders accurately and immediately into the Point of Sale system.
Fill and sell growler orders; accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change, if applicable.
Clean/sterilize bar area and glassware; clear and reset tables and clean bathrooms in tasting room
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to manager.
Be familiar with promotions, sales and assist with special events.
Complete opening and closing duties under the direction of owners and managers.
Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.

We are seeking parking attendants to direct traffic during weekend events. This position must have excellent communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Must be reliable and timely.

Sales Representative / Full-Time
Our Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and maintaining awareness of our brands, as well as promotion and sales in an assigned territory. This person will work closely with our distributors, as well as the rest of the Stable Craft Brewing team, to grow sales volume, manage existing accounts, open new accounts, set up and execute events and promotions. The person in this position will report directly to StableCraft Brewing’s sales manager.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft and excellent customer service skills, while being independently driven, outgoing, competitive, organized, hardworking, goal oriented and persistent. We are seeking applicants with experience in sales, account management, a strong working knowledge of the brewing process, farm grown beer and a sound understanding of craft beer culture.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Visit all assigned accounts and meet all scheduled appointments
Maintain a regular schedule of appointments with accounts in assigned area
Proactively pursue new accounts
Develop and maintain effective customer relationships
Become thoroughly acquainted with every key decision maker
Maintain expert knowledge of beer, the brewing process, beer history and current industry trends
Maintain familiarity with ABC laws and practices for assigned territory
Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
Increase market share and same store sales of our beers
Conduct beer tasting and account staff education with key accounts
Coordinate ride-with and team sells
Organize, plan and staff promotions and events in accounts on a regular basis
Oversee special events in assigned territory. This includes seeking participation in appropriate special events, registration, logistical coordination between the distributor and the event staff and attendance and representation on behalf of the brewery.
Merchandise and execute effective floor displays in order to increase sales volume
Other duties as assigned.
To be eligible for this position you must meet the requirements below:
A minimum of one year in sales or related industry experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Candidate must have access to a registered vehicle for each day.
Clean driving record, valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance is required.
Ability to multi-task and work in an organized fashion.
Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with the brewing, distribution and retail side of the beer industry is desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be competent in basic computer applications.
Must be willing and able to assist with out-of-market promotions and festivals as needed.
Ability to lift and move 35 lb. cases of beer frequently, and move and place 165 lb. kegs as needed.
